HOW DO I...?

Email the office at International@Millersville.edu or stop by Lyle Hall in person. If you email, please include your first and last name, and MU email address.
Non-MU students: Indicate in your email that you are a Non-Millersville student. 
Log in (Use your MU username and password)
Non-MU students: you will be emailed your login and temporary password information.
Click the "Home" button icon in the top left corner. Your Advising Application will be listed here.
Review the instructions for each STEP carefully. You may save and come back to your checklist as many times as you need.
Please note that a student must complete Study Abroad Advising before. 
Step 1: Accessing Your Portal.
Click the "LOGIN" button.
Log in (Use your MU username and password)

Step 2: Applying for a program.
Click the "SEARCH: Programs" tab.
Search for the program that you wish to apply to and click on the name of the program.
Click the “Apply Now” button on the program's page.
If the Apply Now button is not showing, it may mean that the application cycle is not yet available.
Click on the application term and click Apply. Refer to Step 3 for instructions on how to complete your application checklist.

Step 3: Completing Your Study Abroad Application
There are multiple sections of your application, listing items that need to be completed along with detailed instructions. After you have completed an item, a check mark will appear under the Received column. Payments will be manually marked as received.

Returning to Your Portal and Saving Your Application:
You may begin a questionnaire and save it for later completion. After 59 minutes of inactivity you will be logged out and any unsaved work will be lost. Save often. If you have multiple tabs open, it may 'time out' and you will lose your work. Be sure to not just SAVE, but SUBMIT the questionnaire when you are complete.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Millersville University requires a minimum of a 2.0 GPA to study abroad. However, different programs have different GPA requirements. Be sure to consult your Program's Brochure or your study abroad advisor for more specific details.
Yes, you definitely can! Millersville University allows financial aid to be used for study abroad. We recommend a meeting with the Financial Aid office for detailed information, specific to each student's circumstances. See the Financial Policies webpage for more information.

International Programs staff is available to assist students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

After regular business hours, in the event of a true emergency, the IPS Office has an emergency number that you or the student can call. You will then be put in contact with a member of the team who will assist student's with their emergency.
