  • Are there any resources for parents of students interested in studying abroad?
    • Yes! I would encourage parents to review the study abroad information listed on this study abroad area of our website. You will be able to read about the academic and financial policies, as well as review all program information. You can also review the study abroad handbook provided to students. 
    • In addition, I encourage interested parents to read the guide below, written by professional organizational leaders in our field of international education. 
  • What is the minimum GPA requirement?
    • Millersville University requires a minimum of a 2.0 GPA to study abroad. However, different programs have different GPA requirements. Be sure to consult your Program's Brochure Page or your Program Coordinator for more specific details. 
  •  Can I use Financial Aid? 
    • Yes, you definitely can! Millersville University allows financial aid to be used for study abroad. We recommend a meeting with the Financial Aid office for detailed information, specific to each student's circumstances. See the Financial Considerations Webpage for more information. 
  • What happens if a student has a problem onsite?
    • The Global Education staff is available to assist students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. After regular business hours, in the event of a true emergency, Global Education has an emergency number that you or the student can call. You will then be put in contact with a member of the Global Education team who will assist student's with their emergency.

  • Can I get my Perspectives and Diversity requirement completed? 
  • I'm having trouble logging in as a Faculty/Staff/Non-Millersville Student. 
    • First, check to make sure you are using the correct login button. Faculty and non-Millersville students should NOT use the "Student LOGIN" button. 
    • Then, make sure that you are using your full email address. Example: Jane.Doe@XYZ.Com
    • If the above doesn't work, you may need to clear your browsing history and cookies. 
    • You may reset your password in the login screen. 
    • If you logged in with a temporary password, you are prompted to create a more permanent password. Make sure you are using the correct information.
